LLHOA updates as of May 17, 2020


Operation


  • Now Hiring a Property Manager: Lake Lindero Country Club has begun the process to hire a full time experienced property manager to oversee maintenance crew, pro shop, tennis courts and other operational tasks. Only non-LLHOA members will be considered. Must have a proven track record. Reports to the board of directors and follows their assignments and expectations. This is a full time position and salary is DOE(Depending On Experience) in the range of $40,000 to $50,000/year with sick leave, vacation and 401K after 6 months.   • Surveillance system is up and running. Video images are in color with tremendous resolution. It has the ability to zoom in to any area covered by any of the cameras. The system works better than expected.

  • The security guard service has been discontinued. Approximately, what we paid the guards for one month will pay for the surveillance system.

  • Golf course and driving range are now open, business is increasing daily. Many golfers have commented the course looks good, the greens are great.

  • Point of Sales (POS) search has been narrowed to 2 companies. The decision is expected to be made at the May 20th Open Board Meeting.

  • LA County has announced tennis courts can now open. The rules and regulations governing the tennis court operation are currently being looked into by the Board.


Maintenance

  • The Board is currently getting quotes from roofers for a tune up on the roofs of the clubhouse, which includes replacing missing tiles, securing loose tiles and checking for leaks.

  • The process has begun to bring the exterior electrical wiring, conduit and boxes up to code.

  • Volunteers from novices to journeymen are needed to help with the many repairs of the clubhouse and grounds, including landscaping, landscaping design, painting, planting, electrical, light construction, equipment examination and repairs, etc., to help rebuild LLHOA. New Look for LLHOA

  • LLHOA VP Harriet Cohen is spearheading the research, construction and development of the new LLHOA official website. If you want to help, please contact: HarrietLCG@gmail.com

  • The Board is still accepting designs for the LLHOA new logo. To submit your logo design, please email: HarrietLCG@gmail.com


New Business

  • Restaurant: Two restaurants have expressed interest in leasing the space. The search continues.


Legal

  • Christopher T. Barone has failed to comply with the second court order to turn over LLHOA property in his possession by 5/11/2020.
