What's Happening in LLHOA - June 7, 2020

LLHOA updates as of June 7, 2020 on operation, maintenance & legal matters.

Operation

  • Business at the club is getting busier and busier each week. If you haven’t done so, stop by and play a round of golf, hit a bucket of balls on the driving range, soak up the atmosphere and relax in the green bucolic setting.

  • Lake Lindero Country Club’s rating on GOLFNOW.com has improved from 2.6 stars on 5/24 to 3 stars today, 6/7/2020. THANK YOU to the golfers who took the time writing the reviews. Newer reviews are weighted heavier than older ones on GOLFNOW.com and will help improve the rating. Please go on GOLFNOW.com and share your impression and comment if you have played golf at the club lately.

  • The gas line to the pool heater has a leak. Currently the pool is not being heated. The goal is to open the pool next weekend (6/13/2020 or 6/14/2020). The club is currently hiring employees to work in the pool area, checking in members to the pool, sanitizing and cleaning the pool area in compliance with the county regulations. Anyone who is interested in working in the pool area, please contact Lordon Management for details.

  • Tennis courts are open, 3 tennis pros are currently teaching at the club. If you are interested in taking tennis lesson, stop by the proshop for the tennis pros’ contact info.

  • Art studio will begin giving lessons this coming week at the club.

  • Currently, there are 4 part-time employees working at the proshop and a 5-member full-time maintenance crew keeping the club welcoming and the golf course green, groomed and ready to play.

  • More restaurateurs express interest in renting the restaurant. The selection process is underway.

  • The Board was able to regain control of the phone number and the internet account of the club after the illegal ownership transfer from the HOA to an individual during the illegal occupation of the club. Telephone # for the Lake Lindero Country Club is now working: 818-706-2277

Maintenance

  • Several sprinklers on the golf course are not functioning properly, some don’t turn on, others run too long. The maintenance crew is working through them & fixing the problems.

  • Golf course maintenance is switching from spring schedule to summer schedule for watering, fertilizing, golf course and greens care.

  • Trees on the south side of the Thousand Oaks Blvd. have been trimmed for pedestrian head clearance and a dead tree removed.

Legal

  • The LLHOA TRO against Christopher T. Barone was continued to 6/15/2020.

Together we can rebuild and restore pride in our country club and HOA.

Members are welcomed to stop by the club and experience the change taking place in LLHOA.
