Marcos is suing LLHOA for $15 million for his bodily injury claim, if he wins the case, and should the court award him his claim of $15M, what could it mean for each LLHOA member?
Each membership could be slapped with an assessment of $32,679 to pay for Marcos' claim.
$15M / 459 members = $32,679 per member. A judgement of just half or $7,500,000 would still require each member to pay $16,340. (Case #19 on the 22 lawsuits list.)
We cannot sit on the sideline and allow this to happen to us. We cannot let the irresponsible behavior of Board President Mike Umann and CEO Chris Barone drag all of us into the insanity of endless lawsuits and mounting legal bills.
It is time LLHOA had a financially literate and fiscally responsible board.
