Stephen (Steve) P. Maturo is a LLHOA member, a real estate agent/salesperson in Westlake Village, and a Barone supporter. Beware of Stephen Maturo's barbaric and violent behavior.
Steve Maturo openly carries a taser at the country club, used it at least once on a vendor (a locksmith) and has threatened to use it on others.
On Dec 31, 2019, Stephen Maturo confronted a locksmith who was hired by the New Board of Directors to change locks, poked him in the chest, ordering him not to change the locks. The locksmith shoved Maturo away and told Maturo not to touch him. Maturo gathered himself and charged the locksmith pushing him back against his truck, punched him in the stomach several times and tasered him. The locksmith had red marks on his stomach and burn marks on his arm from the taser. Locksmith filed a complaint with the Sheriffs. Stephen Maturo hurried off the premise before the Sheriffs arrived.
On Jan 10, 2020, Steve Maturo emailed a Board Director from his phone: “Hey big mouth you're lucky your as ugly as you are otherwise when you go to prison you'd be someone's piece of manhandle you're done ! You clearly are way in over your head. See you at the meeting.”
On Jan 22, 2020. After a court hearing on a HOA lawsuit, Stephen Maturo chased Michael Allan, president of the LLHOA new Board, down the hall, got in front of Allan and began to scream that he was going to “Fxxk you up” and Allan was “going to go to jail and become someone’s bitch”.
On Jan 23, 2020, Michael Allan arrived at the club conducting HOA business, to prevent Judee Catherine White from collecting cash from the club. As Allan got out of his car, Stephen Maturo pushed Allan with both of his hands on Allan's chest, then charged Allan twice, butting Allan with his chest, then screamed at Allan that if he ever went near Judee Catherine White again, he would put Allan “in the ground”, even if it means he would “go to jail, it is worth it”, a blatant and brazen death threat. This is but one of the numerous incidents where Stephen Maturo got in Allan’s face spitting while screaming that he was going to mess Allan up and Allan was going to jail.
Steve Maturo has also repeated that this will not be over until someone is dead.
To disagree with the recall election result is one thing, to commit assault, battery and make brazen death threats is quite another!
It is not warranted that Stephen Maturo used a taser on a vendor simply because Stephen disagreed with New Board’s decision of changing locks. He could have called sheriffs to stop the vendor from changing locks if he believed locks should not be changed. As a matter of fact, he left the club before the sheriffs arrived after he assaulted, punched and tasered the locksmith.
There is no justification for Stephen Maturo, or any member, to harass the members of the New Board and make brazen death threats simply because he doesn’t like the election results.
Uncivilized, barbaric and violent behavior such as Stephen Maturo’s shall not be tolerated in our HOA and in our society. Stephen(Steve) P. Maturo’s death threats and battery have been reported to the sheriffs.
A person with a tendency for violence, such as what Steve Maturo has demonstrated, poses a genuine threat to the LLHOA members and the greater community, should a dispute arise. Beware of Stephen Maturo’s barbaric and violent behavior.
